Holiday Video, Playwright’s Residency, and new website on it’s way!

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to record a new holiday song I wrote, TO THE PEOPLE THAT WE LOST LAST YEAR, with some incredibly talented people. The song is now up on YouTube and I’d love you to have a listen here. If you’re in Calgary, you can also catch the song sung live as part of Forte theatre’s production of Naughty but Nice, running until December 18th.

It’s been a very busy, creative fall. I had the opportunity to spend a full month in Orangeville (thanks to a Playwright’s Residency Grant from the Ontario Arts Council) where I’ve been working on my new musical THE WHOLE ENCHILADA. This musical comedy will be about a town that’s attempting to set the World Record for “The Most Enchiladas Consumed by a Town of Over Five Hundred People in Less than an Hour”. It’s going to be a lot of fun.

And… very soon, the new website will be going online– it will have details on all my new shows that I’ve written since this website went active, including BINGO LADIES, THE NAMING OF PORT REXTON, and A SUMMER IN NEWFOUNDLAND. Check back soon!

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season!
